Your time spent with our Birthing From Within Mentor, Julie, will involve a deep well of creative resources from which she will co-create your class with you, your partner, and other expectant couples. The focus will be on helping you to be able to relax more fully into your body-mind connection, as well as feeling confident handling any unexpected events that may arise.

The Birthing From Within experience is one filled with presence of mind and connection with body. You'll learn and practice a new pain coping skill at each class, which you will continue to use as new parents. Enjoy a couple hours a week to connection with your baby and partner as you prepare for the journey through birth. It provides information on the symphony of hormones in your body during labor, the cycles the body goes through during labor and birth and much more. The focus is on the exploration of birth through many different mediums.

Birthing From Within Mentors do not seek to teach people how to give birth, but -instead- strive to hold your hand through the process of preparing for any birth experience that you may find yourself having. To give birth from within regardless of how your birth unfolds and welcome your baby with confidence into your family.

In  Morrisville, which is between Raleigh and Durham/ Chapel Hill off of I-40. Karissa, the store owner, has kindly open up this space to the community for classes and events, just click on events on her home page.

The series is 6 two hour sessions and 1 postpartum gathering after everyone has given birth with postpartum information, sharing birth stories and discussion.

Price for This Class Series: $175.00  included in this price is your own copy of the book, Birthing From Within by Pam England and other class materials.

The following class series is Sunday 2-5 in Raleigh Nov.7-Dec.12, this class is limited to 6 couples. This will be the last class for 2010. First series of the new year will start in late January.
